- ISI/ ISO Certification ISO (International Organization for Standardization) promotes the use of global products. It is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 167 national standards bodies. On the other hand, The Bureau of Indian Standards is the owner of the trademark ISI which is recognized to be used on Indian products and owned by the Association of Indian Standards.
